Who Qualifies For The Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house that has a combined gross home income that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined house money doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of earnings.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded my nsfas to supply the right Identity Doc numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored inside their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or intend to research in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
